Z -- This Request for Quotation (RFQ) is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 as upplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is DABT57-00-Q-1096 and is issued as a Request for Quotation. The service requested is to provide all labor and equipment necessary to repair or replace personnel type doors at Fort Eustis, VA. The doors shall include but not be limited to interior and exterior solid wood doors, hollow wood doors, commercial store front doors, hollow metal doors, wood frames, metal frames, and door hardware including door hinges, locks, closers, panic hardware, and all painting as required. The contractor shall provide complete repairs, replacement and painting to all doors as requested including all operating components, frames and hardware to include all electrical components, motors, switches, starters, controllers, conduits, and wiring. The contractor shall provide all troubleshooting and repairs all doors as required, to include all required electrical repairs and installation. All door repairs or replacement shall be done on an "as needed" basis. The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-15. This solicitation is a 100% set-aside for small business with small business yearly dollar income of $5 Million. The impending purchase order will have a period of performance for 1 October 2000 thru 30 September 2001 subject to availability of funds.
