The Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) Headquarters in Arlington, Virginia has a requirement for conference and lodging facilities. This requirement is for conference and lodging facilities within a 20 mile radius of the DFAS Headquarters in Crystal City, Arlington, Virginia, 22240. DFAS intends to issue RFQ MDA210-00-Q-1001 in an effort to establish a multiple or single Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). The period of performance for the BPA will be one base year and four (4) additional option years. It is the intent of the BPA to secure discounts on a separate and cumulative basis throughout the life of the BPA. The prices to the Government for all acquisitions made under this agreement shall be as low as, or lower than, those charged the supplier's most favored customer for comparable quantities and services under similar terms and conditions, in addition to any discounts for prompt payment. The Government is not obligated to place any calls under this BPA. The Government is only obligatedfor authorized calls/reservations. Calls/reservations must be placed in advance. Prices established under the lodging portion of this Agreement will be for single or double occupancy, tax exempt, and included accommodations. Supplier will provide a list of conference facilities available (with included accommodations), and prices for additional accommodations. Payment for these services may be made by Government Purchase Card or by Purchase Order via EFT. Electronic proposals will be made available upon request. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) and Statement of Work (SOW), and attached documents will be posted to the DFAS website, www.dfas.mil, on/about August 31, 2000.
