NATIONAL INSTITUTES OF HEALTH TECHNOLOGY EXPO National Institutes of Health is hosting an on-site Information Technology Expo on Friday, December 8, 2000. This expo will be advertised to 24 separate Institutions, Centers, and Divisions, including: National Cancer Institute, National Eye Institute, National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, National Institute on Aging, National Institute on Drug Abuse, National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, National Institute of General Medical Sciences, National Institute of Mental Health, National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, National Institute of Nursing Research, Division of Computer Research, National Library of Medicine, and Center for Scientific Review. NIH's mission is to uncover new knowledge that will lead to better health for everyone. NIH works toward that mission by: conducting research in its own laboratories; supporting the research of non-Federal scientists in universities, medical schools, hospitals, and research institutions throughout the country and abroad; helping in the training of research investigators; and fostering communication of biomedical information. Our last NIH expo in July 2000 had over 350 attendees.
