This Army requirement support the M1A1 Tank program. This acquisition will be a trade-off/best value procurement evaluating past performance and small business utilization. The estimated quantity is 100 each with a 100% evaluated option. The acquisition is Full and Open, competitive. The estimated release (issue) date is 25 Aug 00. The solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7), and 14.205-1(c). Hard copies will not be provided.
