This project consists of the modification, closure, or decommissioning
of roads throughout the Cub Creek Watershed in order to restore
ecological health.Work shall consist of closing designated roads and
restoring drainage facilities to the original hydrological function.
The project is located approximately eight miles north north west of
the town of Winthrop, Wa. The project area can be reached by traveling
West from Winthrop for approx. 1/10 mile on Hwy 20. then turning right
on County Road 1213. Proceed on County Road 1213 for approx. six miles,
then turn right onto County road 1251. Proceed on County Road 1251 for
approx. 2 miles, and the road will become Forest Service Road 5200000,
refered to as road 52. This places you in the south east portion of the
project area. The solicitation is estimated between $25,000 -$100,000.
