The DVA Medical Center, Tuscaloosa, Alabama requires contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision to demo existing Carpet and VCT floor tile under the carpet in the entrance, entrance corridor, and main atrium of Building 135 ground floor (approximately 4,300 sq.ft.) and install 12" x 12" slate tile flooring with 6" rubber base/corners/termination strips as required in drawing. Contractor will also be required to prepare the floor with leveling compound before applying flooring material, and daily clean up and hauling off of debris. There will be some weekend and after hour work involved in specific zones to prevent stopping pedestrian traffic during normal hospital hours. There will be a pre-bid conference/walk through and the date, time, and place will be specified in the solicitation letter. The estimated cost range is $25,000.00 to $100,000.00.
