DESCRIPTION -- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The combined Synopsis/Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is AMSTAT-RVP5-2101. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46, dated 17 Mar 97. The associated standard industrial classification code is 7379, with a size standard of $18.0 million. The requirement is for 1 year of license renewals including maintenance on the following software: ABAQUS/Standard, ABAQUS/Explicit, ABAQUS/Designer and ABAQUS/Safe software being run on one SGI Challenge L Server/Operating system R10/Irix 6.5 with a total of 35 network tokens for each type of software No options will be included.
