The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, National Center for Environmental Assessment (NCEA) is currently seeking to obtain the expert services of scientists to review and interpret published scientific research on ozone and to write sections of the workshop draft of the Ozone Air Quality Criteria Document (AQCD). Scientists must possess an extensive background and knowledge in the following areas of ozone science and technology: atmospheric chemistry, source emissions, concentrations, and measurements. Results of this project will be used by EPA to produce the revised Ozone AQCD. For this project, interested scientists must possess specific knowledge of ozone urban variability and ozone atmospheric background concentrations to assist EPA with a summary and interpretation of the best available scientific information in the development of the Ozone AQCD. Specific requirements will be outlined in the statement of work contained in the Request for Quotations (RFQ). RFQ-PR-OH-00-00595 will be issued on orabout August 24, 2000, with written quotations due on or about September 7, 2000. The proposed acquisition will be processed under the procedures of FAR Part 13. All responsible sources may submit a written quotation which will be considered by the Agency.
