This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. NASA JSC White Sands Test Facility plans to acquire a 200KW Emergency Standby Rated Engine Generator Set capable of producing rated kW and kVA when operating at 4500 feet above sea level and temperature range from 10F to 110F, in accordance with the attached Specifications. Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing (e-mail is acceptable) no later than August 18, 2000.
