This effort will require the contractor to design, construct, acquire/install equipment, systemize, operate, and decommission a chemical disposal facility at PCD. An Industry Day will be convened at the Chemical Demil Training Facility, Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Edgewood Area, MD at 0900 on 07 Sep 00. Industry will be provided an overview of the requirements, the technologies under consideration, the proposed acquisition approach, and the project milestone schedules. Industry comments on all aspects of the acquisition are sought. The closing date for comments to the Industry Day Presentation will be 21 Sep 00.
