SOL N00024-00-R-6318 POC POC: Sonja Truehart-McKinney, Contract Specialist (703) 602-0951 x638, Contracting Officer, Jim Watts, 703-602-0951 x636 The previous CBD announcement for the Live Detonation Cord for the Shallow Water Distributed Explosive Technology (DET) Mine Clearance System (MCS) stated that the RFP was expected to be on the NAVAL SEA SYSTEMS COMMAND (NAVSEA) Headquarters Contracts Directorate Homepage the later part of July 2000 and that a Bidders Conference would take place at Indian Head Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center on August 9, 2000. The RFP is now expected to be on the NAVSEA Headquarters Contracts Directorate Homepage mid August 2000. In addition, the NAVSEA, Program Executive Office Mine and Undersea Warfare (PMS 407) has canceled the Bidders Conference scheduled for August 9, 2000. PMS 407 will still set up the technical library for offerors to view the hardware and will answer offerors questions once the RFP has been released and offerors have had a chance to review the solicitation.
