This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR SUBPART 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This procurement is set asise for Small Business. All responsible sources may submit an offer. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals are being requested on a seperate written solicitation Number USZA94-00-Q-0217 applies and is issued as a Request For Proposal. This solicitation will document and incorporate provisions and clauses in Acquisition Circular 97-19 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13(correction). The Government intends to purchase: 1 each 40'L x 16'W 8'H, 65,500 lb Duplex Double Wide Armory. The specifications are as follows: In Bahrain, Arabian Gulf the voltage is: 415/230, 50HZ, 3 phase, 4 wire. It is important that all air-conditioners and equipment shall be 50HZ. All circuits must be 25 amps. Door of Armory mount in front, off set to the left-hand side. If possible, hingesfor the doors have zerk lubrication fitting for maintenance on hinges. External power hookup mounted outside, on left-hand side, toward the back of Armory. (Left hand side looking fron the front of the Armory). Compressor hookup mounted outside, on left-hand side, toward front, for air and power. The pluming for the air should connect to four inside connections, and should run along the front the front of Armory. The compressor shall be purchased in Bahrain, Arabian Gulf. Exterior of the Armory shall be painted to match the rest of the buildings on NAS Bahrain. Specifications as follows: Berger paints or comparable. First coat: Brolac Acrylic A R primer, Second coat: Weather-coat fine texture RR 9498, Third Coat: Weather-coat acrylic RR 9498. If paint codes can not match, standard paint is acceptable.
