58 -- MODIFICATION OF DIALED NUMBER RECORDER CONTRACT DEA-97-C-0053 POC Alan Knoepfel, Contract Spec The Drug Enforcement Administration intends to modify an existing contract with JSI Telecom, Inc.; a provider of telecommunications equipment primarily used for the purpose of court authorized telecommunication interception. The proposed modification includes numerous subcomponents or subsystems, replaceable circuit cards, and items of programmable technology for JSI designed and installed systems. The proposed modification is primarily for the replacement of "short" life cycle components as they are overcome by technical obsolescence. The government intends to acquire items that fully meet the Government's evolving telecommunications needs and are interoperable with the currently installed base of government systems technology at reasonable prices.
