NASA/GSFC plans to issue a Request for Quote RFQ 565-77257-0000-721 for the renovation of one each forty-eight foot (48') expandable trailer with VIN: 1M9VS4820R1298003 and Serial Number TL4818-02. The trailer shall be renovated to meet NASA/GSFC/WFF mechanical and electrical specifications. The renovation work will be internal as well as external, with the bulk of the work being internal. Delivery and pickup arrangements of the trailer will be made by NASA/GSFC/WFF. Work shall be completed with six (6) weeks of delivery of trailer. A complete set of specifications will be included with the Request for Quotation. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR PART 12. The SIC Code and Size Standard are 1731 and $7,000,000.00, respectively. The DPAS Rating for this procurment is DO A7. The anticipated release date of RFQ 565-77257-0000-721 is on or about August 25, 2000, with an anticipated quote due date of on or about September 8, 2000.
