The work includes, but is not limited to: furnishing an approved electrical layout plan, installing a new power riser, installing underground primary feeders, installing transformers, installing power distribution panels/risers, and service-test a complete commercial power system that will provide commercial power to DTRA Timing & Firing Van (T&F) and Instrumentation Van, located at the Chestnut High Explosive Test Site on Kirtland AFB, NM 87117. Additional requirements are: A mandatory site visit is required 5 days after release of the solicitation, Contractor should be an electrical firm with a suitable history of successful performance of similar work, and the work required is restricted to firms located within the state of New Mexico. This agency intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) DTRA02-00-B-0016 on or about 16 August 00. Responses will be due approximately 30 days thereafter. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. This is a 100% set-aside for small business concerns.
