dry-docking. Overall length of 68'6", beam of 19'3", loaded
displacement of 47.5 long tons. The government will deliver the vessel
to a distance not more than eight hours sailing time (approximately 80
miles) from Caven Point Terminal, Jersey City, N.J. The completion time
is 30 days from notice to proceed. Because of the aluminum hull
construction, the contractor must use the hydroblast method.
Contractors will be required to certify that their quote is for
hydroblasting, not an alternative method. This is a small business
set-aside, SIC 4499, with a size standard of no more than $5MIL gross
revenues averaged over the past three years. If acceptable bids are not
received from small businesses, bids from large businesses will be
reviewed. The estimated value is $30,000 to $60,000. Prior to any
award, the successful bidder will be required to enter into a Master
Agreement for Repairs and Alterations of Vessels. Bidders that entered
into the Agreement prior to this solicitation need not comply with
this requirement. The specifications package is free of charge and may
