Y -- MAINTENANCE DREDGING, 12 FOOT CHANNEL AND ANCHORAGE, LITTLE HARBOR, RYE, NEW HAMPSHIRE SOL DACW33-00-B-0013 DUE 091100 POC Carol Husselbee, 978/318-8420 This project consists of maintenance dredging of approximately 60,000 cubic yards of silty sand material from an existing channel and anchorage at Little Harbor in Rye and Newcastle, New Hampshire. The existing channel is to be dredged to 10 feet MLW and a portion of the existing anchorage is to be dredged to 8 feet MLW. All dredged material is to be removed by mechanaical methods with disposal by scow. Disposal of dredged material shall be approximately three miles from the project site, about 1,500 feet off shore of Wallis Sand State Beach. In all dredging areas, boulders and miscellaneous debris shall be removed as necessary to achieve project depth and width as shown on the contract drawings. Eelgrass transplanting as mitigation for environmental impacts may become part of this work. The estimated cost of this work is between $500,000.00 to $1,000,000.00. Work shall be completed within 180 calendar days of a notice to proceed. Solicitation shall be available on or about 8/11/00. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns.
