electronically 7/21/2000: The work consists of the general construction
of approximately 10,000 linear feet of 2-inch diameter water line, with
about 5,000 linear feet of primary underground electrical in conduit.
It also includes approximately 750 linear feet of 4-inch sewer line,
plus yard hydrants, pad-mounted transformers, service connections, and
asphalt patching. Rock excavation through sandstone will be required.
Blasting will not be allowed. The site is located at Arches National
Park, Moab, Utah (in Grand County). The estimated price range is
between $250,000 and $500,000. Solicitation documents will be available
on or about 8/7/2000 with bid opening on or about 9/6/2000. This
acquisition is solicited under full and open competition. (The previous
advertisement incorrectly stated it was set aside for small businesses.
The solicitation is open to both small and large businesses.) Award
will be made in accordance with Public Law 100-656, the Small Business
