consists of constructing approximately 8.6 kilometers of bicycle trail.
Work includes grading and drainage of 4.4 meter wide subgrade,
mechanically stabilized earth retaining walls, gabions, riprap, 3
concrete box culvert extensions, 1 new trail bridge, aggregate base and
hot mix asphalt surface. The project is located approximately 10 miles
southeast of Panguitch, Utah via US Highway 90 and Highway U-12.
Project parallels Highway U-12 through Red Canyon approximately 8 miles
east of Bryce Canyon National Park. This project is expected to be
between $1million and $5million. The estimated solicitation issue date
is 8/14/00. Plans can be ordered by submitting a request to the above
address with a check for $15.00 made out to USDA Forest Service.*****
