Plaza Drive, Visalia, CA 93291, the repair of one SF-6 circuit breaker K70-4. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, no solicitation packages will be faxed or mailed. The SF-6 circuit breaker is currently at Western Utilities Transformer Service, Visalia, CA. The circuit breaker is currently under warranty, (F0468499M7092) through Western Utilities however, the current warranty does not cover the malfunctioning part. Repair of the malfunctioning part requires the following: (1) Carbon removal of interrupter chambers. (2) Carbon removal of interrupters and associated components. (3) Repair or replacement of interrupter tube. (4) Replacement of corona shields. (5) Replacement or 3 rupture disks. (6) Replacement of one interrupter contact assembly. (7) Replacement of 3 desiccant packs. (8) Replacement of 6 bushing gaskets. (9) Replacement of 6 cover plate gaskets and perform all electricaland mechanical verification tests to ensure a completely operation breaker. This item is being procured and will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13.0.
