The activity requests proposals be limited to G.E. brand name or similar. All model numbers listed are G.E. Offerors must propose G.E. brand name or similar. Award will be made for one manufacturer. (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation number is M00146-00-R-0023 and is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-18(a) and Defense Acquisition Circular Update #19. (iv) A waiver of the Non-Manufacturer Rule has been approved by SBA for this procurement. Therefore, the proposed acquisition is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses with a Standard Industrial Code of 5722 and corresponding size standard of $4.5 million.
