Z -- AIRFIELD LIGHTING VAULT, BLDG. #7062 SOL YTPM 00-3001 DUE 091400 POC Donald P Hebert, Contract Specialist or Michael I LaFortune, Contracting Officer at 413/557-2603 Project YTPM 00-3001, Airfield Lighting Vault, Bldg. 7062 is a project that consists of removal and disposal of the existing 2400V diesel engine generator, all associated generator equipment, automatic transfer switch from the existing light vault and replacing with a new 500KW, 480V diesel generator, ATS, main breaker in an outdoor weatherproof enclosure. Project shall also include the removal of existing 2400V regulators and buses and replacing with new 480V & 208V regulators, switchboard and panel boards inside the vault. The work also includes removal of existing airfield lighting control equipment and replacing with a state-of-the-art fiber optic Airfield Lighting Control System in both vault and tower. Site improvements will also include concrete sidewalks. Work under this contract shall be performed in four (4) phases. Bid issue 11 August 2000. Bid open 14 September 2000. Performance period shall be 120 calendar days. This project is being solicited in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code applicable to this project is 1731 and the size standard is $7,000,000.00. Requests for the solicitation are encouraged from all business concerns.
