Command, Research, Development and Engineering Center (AMRDEC), Systems
Simulation and Development Directorate, is requesting sources to submit
information for evaluation of potential sources with capabilities to
perform operations, maintenance and technology support services to
accomplish real-time, hardware-in-the-loop, radio frequency, millimeter
wave, infrared and multimode missile guidance simulations in the
AMRDEC. This effort is expected to require from 30,000 to 205,000
manhours per year. Over 90% of the work must be performed on-site in
Building 5400, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. Respondents must demonstrate
the capability of management and technical direction of a large
multimillion dollar contract and provide the following specific
information. 1. A listing of contracts over the past three years which
relate specifically to the above areas of interest. 2. Description of
recent and relevant successful experience in these areas. 3. Facility
size in square feet.4. Level of security clearance of facility. 5.
Number of full time and number of part-time employees. Potential
sources must be U.S. owned and meet the minimum security requirement of
SECRET. Interested participants should submit a white paper by 3:30
P.M. Central Time, 21 August 2000, addressed to USAMCOM, ATTN:
AMSAM-AC-RD-BB/G. Welch, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama 35898-5000. Response
should be limited to one document of 25 pages or less (8 1/2 by 11
