The contractor will be responsible to provide Guard Services to Minimum and Low custody Federal Prisoners held in the custody of the Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons, requiring confinement in a local hospital for medical treatment at any designated local hospital, as needed. These services shall be provided in accordance with the statement of work. The Bureau of Prisons anticipates a Firm Fixed Price, Requirements type contract. This solicitation is 100% set aside for Small Business concerns. The SIC Code is 7381. The Small Business Size Standard is $9.0 million. The contract will include a base year, with four (4), one (1) year option periods for renewal, with an anticipated award date of December 01, 2000. Each twelve (12) period will consist of an estimated 36,000 manhours. The anticipated issue date of this solicitation is August 28, 2000 with an anticipated receipt of offers due September 29, 2000.
