labor, equipment, supplies, and materials to install items to remodel
the conference room and improve the finishes of the BLM Warehouse
building. Work located in Miles City, Montana. There will be 3
schedules and one or any combination thereof will be awarded. Schedule
A: Demolish and remove old beams, walls and doors from existing
structure. Relocate electrical and communications. Remove old lighting
and replace with new lighting. Remove old carpet and replace with new
carpet. Furnish and install new beams, beam supports, support bases.
Furnish and install firewall on two floors. Saw cut concrete for drain
piping installation. Install drain piping, venting and plumbing
piping. Furnish and install base board heaters, projector screen, fire
extinguishers. Furnish and install walls, doors and misc. for new
structures. Furnish and install flooring and flooring transitions. Pre
and paint walls and ceilings. Move shelving and books from/to library
for carpet removal/installation. Perform other work included in
specifications. Schedule B: Furnish and install Coffee Cabinet, cold
water supply line, hot water heater, and associated plumbing,
electrical and finish work. Furnish and install flooring associated
with Coffee Cabinet area. Schedule C: Furnish and install sypsum board
on west wall as stated in specifications and drawings. Finish and
paint. Extend door jambs and move electrical outlets, diffusers, etc.
Relocate conduit and baseboard heater. Contractor will have 90 days to
complete the project after the notice to proceed is issued.
Solicitation is a Request for Quotations and will be awarded as a
purchase order mid to late September 2000. Awards over $25,000 will
require payment protection in the form of 1) Irrevocable Letter of
Credit 2) Certificate of Deposit 3) Payment Bond. The proposed award is
