S -- MEDICAL WASTE DISPOSAL SOL 637-39-00 DUE 091500 POC Djuna Roberts Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials to provide microwave processing and removal of medical waste, and pick-up and disposal of pathological/chemotherapy waste once every two weeks or as needed in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Contractor shall provide boxes with plastic liners for the boxing of pathological/chemotherapy waste for shipment. Waste will be stored for pick-up at one central location and electrical hook-up for microwaving will be provided by the medical center. The initial term of the contract will be from October 1, 2000 through September 30, 2001 with 4 one-year option periods. This solicitation is subject to the availability of funds.
