This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). One each of a Dielectrometer for measuring dielectric properties. Shall have the following features: Universal dielectric converter (without sample cell). Reference capacitors (20 pF to 2 nF). Frequency range 3 Micro Hertz to 100 Kilo Hertz; Complete software package for measurement control and fitting consisting of WinDETA, WinPLOT, WinTEMP, and WinFIT including two drivers for two analyzer; Temperature control system (minus 100 degrees Celsius to plus 250 Degrees Celsius). Included are: Microprocessor control system and liquid nitrogen evaporation chamber; PC extension card for IEEE-488(HP-1B) port or fully equivalent. The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 97-18. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The SIC code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 3825 and 500, respectively. The quoter shall state in their quotation their size status for this procurement. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-C9.
