Synopsis/Solicitation in accordance with the commercial practices in
Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12. The announcement
constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and
a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation
No.F19650-00-R-0015 is issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP) (iii)
CLIN 0001 -- The requirement is for Six (6) Certified Medical
Assistants. Services include initial screening of patients through the
clinic and plan, develop, manage and perform health service activities
throughout the clinic in accordance with the Performance Work
Statement. (iv) The Period of Performance shall be 31 Jul 00 -- 30 Sep
00 for the Basic Year with 2 Option Years to run 1 Oct 00 -- 30 Sep 01
and 1 Oct 01 -- 30 Sep 02 (v) Clauses 52.212-1, Instructions to
Offerors-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. (vi) 52.212-2
Evaluation-Commercial Items. The following factors will be used to
evaluate offers: Professional specifications, past performance, price
and price related factors and delivery schedule considered in
descending order of importance as listed here. In addition, when all
other factors are combined they are more important than price. The
government will select a professionally superior offer if it is
determined that the additional professional merit is worth the
additional cost in relation to the other proposals received.
Furthermore, the government may reject any or all offers if such action
is in the public interest or waive informalities and minor
irregularities in offers received. Professional capability will be
determined from the information submitted by the Offeror providing a
description in sufficient detail to show the product offered meets the
government's requirements. (vii) 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and
Certifications-commercial Items. Offeror must be a Small Business.
(vii) 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial items. (ix) All
offerors must be Central Contractor Registered (CCR). (x) TheStatement
