Q -- SURGICAL INSTRUMENT REPAIR SOL RFP-642-16-00 DUE 082400 POC Debra Fisher, 215-823-4673 Surgical Instrument Repair/Refurbishment Services -- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Philadelphia VA Medical Center, has a requirement for complete repair and refurbishment services for surgical instrument and equipment including inspection, sharpening, and alignment of surgical instruments. Contractor will furnish all parts, materials, labor, and transportation necessary and incident to the repair and refurbishment of general surgical instruments, microscrope and specialty instruments, endoscopic instruments, rigid and flexible scopes, pneumatic equipment, Phaco hand-pieces, cameras, printer, and other surgical equipment as needed. Services shall include 24 hours per day -- 7 days per week availability and on-site mobile service capability. Contractor must be located within a 100 miles radius of the VA Medical Center located at University & Woodland Avenues, Philadelphia, PA 19104. The SIC (Standard Industrial Classification) Code is 7699. The contract will be for one (1) year, with (2) one (1) year options. This procurement is being conducted utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with format defined in FAR 12.303 and procedures in FAR Part 15.
