The issue date for this solicitation is on or after July 25, 2000 and the bid opening date is August 29, 2000 at 10:00am Central Time. Bid opening will be held at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 1601 Perdido Street, Building 2, Room 405, New Orleans, Louisiana 70112. All requests for solicitation packages must be in writing, telephone requests will not be accepted. The service areas for this procurement are the States of Louisiana and Mississippi. There will be a total of five(5) contracts awarded in the State of Louisiana and a total of three (3) contracts awarded in the State of Mississippi. Home Health agencies MUST be accredited by Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and will provide evidence of accreditation with their solicitation for contract.
