R -- RECRUITMENT/ADVERTISING SERVICES The Internal Revenue Service intends to conduct a sole-source acquisition with the incumbent contractor, Thielen and Associates, under FAR 6.302-1. The acquisition is for Recruitment/Advertising services for the IRS Fresno Service Center (FSC) for a period of six (6) months. The purpose for this short-term contract is to enable the IRS to change the performance period on future Recruitment/Advertising services requirements, for the FSC, to coincide with the FSC's seasonal-employee recruitment cycle. A firm-fixed price type contract is contemplated for period 10/01/00 through 03/31/01 without options.
