Provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and supervision
required to correct the condensation problem at USCG Station Fort
Macon, Atlantic Beach, NC. Contract work shall encompass the following
items of work. This summary is not all-inclusive and delineates only
those work items deemed as major to the contract. (1) Remove second
floor suspended acoustical ceiling tiles and suspension system. (2)
Remove fiberglass batt insulation above second floor suspended ceiling.
(3) Install new rigid polyurethane and spray polyurethane foam
insulation above the second floor suspended ceiling. (4) Apply new
spray-applied fireproofing material to cover the top and bottom of the
new polyurethane foam insulation. (5) Install additional duct
insulation on metal ductwork above second floor suspended ceiling. (6)
Install new second floor suspended acoustical ceiling tiles and
suspension system. (7) Remove gable end louver vents and install new
storm resistant type louvers. The SIC Code is 1742. The estimated range
is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. NOTE: This project was
advertised on 6/20/200 with an estimated range of $25,000 TO $100,000.
Due to an increased scope of work, the estimated range is changed to
$100,000 to $250,000. This solicitation can be downloaded from the USCG
