66 -- AUTOMATED COMPONENT TEST SYSTEM SOL SP071000R0015 DUE 080200 POC Linda Dodson -- (614) 692-3430 The Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC), OH has a need for a "turnkey" Automated Test System. The test system will be used to perform electrical tests on components including resistors, capacitors, inductors, transformers, and other electrical devices. The system MUST provide National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) traceability. The system is to consist of the following two "test stations"; transformers and passive devices. Each test station will have the capability of being controlled by a computer connected to a Local Area Network. DSCC will provide the workstation controllers for the system. The contractor shall provide internal PCMCIA to IEEE-488 Interface Cards, all system software, and all other hardware for the system. The base software for the system should be a commercially available application such as Hewlett Packard's "VEE", National Instruments "Lab View", or Capital Equipment's Test Point. These test stations require a custom interface (to the base software) which facilitates rapid test program development. The contractor shall provide installation and training. System is to be delivered to DSCC within 12 months contract award. All responsible sources may submit an offer which DSCC will consider. This procurement is unrestricted.
