Y -- REPLACE SQUADRON OPS/FTU SOL DAHA33-00-B-0004 DUE 083000 POC Elaine Farabee, 614-336-7430 SOLICITATION SYNOPSIS FOR CONSTRUCTION SERVICES Services are required for the construction of a 30,800 SF masonry facility at the Springfield Air National Guard Base, Springfield, Ohio. The project includes offices, conference rooms, classrooms, men's and women's latrines/showers/locker rooms, and open administrative areas for pre-wired workstations. The construction consists of brick, CMU walls, glass curtain wall, and metal stud/drywall. Interior finishes include suspended ceilings, carpet tile, vinyl wall covering, vinyl composition floor, tile and casework. Construction includes installation of HVAC and ductwork, pulse type boilers, new Direct Digital Control system, and wet pipe fire suppression system. Electrical work includes primary electric, a ground mounted transformer, panels, conduit and wiring and communications wiring to include fiber optics. The roofing includes EPDM and standing seam metal roof systems. The project requires site work, which includes extension of a new 20-inch water main, earthwork, parking lots, access roads, storm drainage, utilities, and landscaping. Demolition includes removal of existing pavements and offsite disposal of asphalt and construction debris. Total estimate for this project is between $5 million and $10 million.
