the following services utilizing Simple Acquisition Procedures: Provide
all labor, equipment, and supervision necessary to collect, remove and
transport untreated waste water from the U.S. Coast Guard Housing Site
Point Reyes, California, to the U.S. Coast Guard Training Center
Petaluma, California, for disposal. Period of service will be 1 October
2000 through 30 September 2001. The Request for Quotation (REQ) will be
issued on or about 27 JUL 2000 and close on 14 AUG 2000. The applicable
SIC is 4953, NAICS 562219 and the small business size standard is $6
Million average annual receipts for the preceding three fiscal years.

NOTE: For Minority, Women and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The
Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged
Business Utilization (OSDBU), has programs to assist minority,
women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire
short-term working capital and bonding assistance for
transportation-related contract. This is applicable to any eligible
prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program
enables firms to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to
$1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80% guaranty on the bond
amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the
DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to
provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is
