The 133rd Airlift Wing (AW), Minnesota Air National Guard, St. Paul, MN has a requirement for assessment/consulting services for a reliability upgrade of their Local Area Network (LAN). Requirement is for an Assessment Phase and a Recommendation Phase. Assessment Phase will consist of evaluation and documentation of the current LAN infrastructure for capability and connectivity and defining long range goals. Recommendations Phase will consist of a formal written submittal which clearly defines the recommendations and resulting increase in LAN reliability and connectivity. The submittal will include hardware, training and maintenance recommedations as well as other associated reliability requirements. Potential offerors will be required to attend a Preproposal Conference to be held on-site at the 133 AW in St. Paul Minnesota. Date and time for the preproposal conference will be published in the solicitation. Solicitation issue date is 12 JULY 2000 and proposal due date is 25 JULY 2000. Simplified Acquisition Procedures/Commercial Item Contracting methods will be used for this procurement. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors included. A firm fixed-price contract is anticipated. All capable and interested sources must submit a written request for the solicitation.
