Mumford (606)745-3127 The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, materials and incidental supplies necessary to construct a new Toilet/Shower Building at the Oak Point campground loop of the Lake Glendale Recreation Area on the Shawnee National Forest in Pope County, Illinois. The building will be approximately 32 feet X 38 feet with approximately 1,200 square feet of floor space. The building will have a concrete slab floor, textured concrete block walls and a wood frame roof covered with asphalt shingles. The building will be ADA accessible and will be divided into a men's room and a women's room, with manual flush toilets and showers with hot and cold water. The building will have interior and exterior lighting, ceiling fans, and exhaust fans. The Contractor will be required to install the water, electric and sewage sytems in the building and tie them into the existing utility systems. The Contractor will be responsible for site preparation, including grubbging tree stumps and shrubs and bringing the site to proper grade level. The Contractor will also construct a gravel parking area and sidewalks from the parking area to the toilet/shower building. A pre-bid meeting/site visit will be held on or around August 2, 2000 at 9:00 a.m. local time at the Lake Glendale Recreation Area, depending upon the actual issue date of the solicitation. The estimated cost range for this building is between $100,000 and $250,000. This project is being solicited on an unrestricted basis using the Invitation for Bid format. A bid bond will be required.
