Some existing mains will be removed. Work includes, but is not limited to selective demolition, site excavation, backfill, grading, and pipe laying. Performance period for resultant construction contract awarded as a result of this solicitation will be 217 calendar days. Magnitude of this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal -- Price Performance Trade-Off (PPT). When the solicitation package is downloaded, it should be read completely, as there are milestones that must be met in order to be responsive. The issue date will be on or about 25 July 2000, with a proposal due 30 calendar days after RFP issuance. There will be no pre-announcement of when the solicitation will be available on the Internet.
