The Tribes Early Childhood Education Center, is seeking proposals for Speech and Language Pathologist Services, for children six weeks to ten years old, for the Head Start program, Early Head Start program and Early Intevention/Early Childhood Special Education program. The department's goals and objectives in the Early intervention/Early Childhood Special Education include a Transdiciplinary Team approach to assessments, intervention and successful inclusion of children with severe disabilities; also, participate on multi-discilinary teams for case reviews, provide clinical assessments, confer with parents, teachers, caregivers and specialists to design and deliver appropriate interventions in a home, childcareor classroom setting, provide or supervise individual or group occupational therapies for young children, provide training and mentoring for teachers in the area of language development and teaching speech and language skills, participate in Individual Family Service Plans teams, develop and consult in administering of individual family service goals and objectives.
