The AMC Acquisition Center intends to solicit and negotiate a Firm-Fixed-Price contract with Hughes Associates, Inc.,3610 Commerce Drive, Suite 817, Baltimore, MD 21237-1652 on the basis of other than full and open competition in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(A) to provide planning, engineering, management and technical support for Army Pollution Prevention in Acquisition Program efforts. The basis for this non-competitive action is due to the lack of data currently available to allow competition. The period of performance of the proposed contract is twelve months. RFP No. DAAD13-00-R-0043 will not be issued until at least 15 days after issuance of the synopsis. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered. See Note 22.
