General Description: The work covered by this construction consists of furnishing all labor, material, tools, equipment, quality control, and supervision necessary to complete all operations required for the completion/ready for use, all in accordance with the specifications and plans of this project and subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. The work to be performed in connection to this project includes, but is not limited to the following: a. Maintain and paint airfield markings/striping, rubber and paint removal (lead-based paint may be encountered,) and disposal of all debris resulting from the completion of the project. b. All other work specified in the specifications and shown on the drawings and/or miscellaneous incidental work not shown that may be required to complete the project. This is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract. The magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00, which includes the project cost for the basic year and four option years. There is a guaranteed minimum amount of $28,000.00and an estimated maximum amount of $5,000,000.00. Performance periods will be negotiated for each individual delivery order. Performance and payment bonds will be required for each delivery order. This solicitation is unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit a proposal in response to the solicitation. Issuance of the Request for Proposal (RFP) in anticipated on or about 24 Jul 2000. No hard copies of the solicitation will be issued.
