This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposal/price quotes are being required in response to this publication and a written solicitation will not be issued. This synopsis/solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) # 1CO-0281. This synposis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-18. This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside under Standard Industrial Code (SIC) 3661 having 1000 or less employees. The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking quotes for NORTEL telephone sets: (1) M5216, Quantity 150 EA featuring MADN, Multiple Line, Display, Single Button Access, Line/Feature Keys, Hold & Release Keys, Redail, Class Name & Number Capable, On-Hook Dialing, Mute, Volume Control for Speaker, Volume Control for Ringer, Volume Control for Handset, Headset Capability, Desk and Wall Mountable, Time/Date Display; (2) M5316, Quantity 150 containing all of the above stated features and will include a call timer; (3) M522, Quantity 50, featuring MADN, Multiple Line, Single Button Access, Line/Feature Keys; (4) 05-P0780103-N, Single footstand (Black), Quantity 25 EA and (5) 05-P0780203-N, Double Footstand (Black), Quantity 25 EA. All telephones, single and double footstands and related equipment must be black in color. All telephone sets/equipment must be NORTEL, DMS-100 (Digital Centrex) compatible. Quotes should be FOB Destination prices. Delivery to 320 First Street, NW, Rm. 112, Washington DC 20534 will be no later than 30 Days after receipt of Contract award document.
