The Environmental Protection Agency, Office of Regulatory Enforcement
(ORE), Mobile Source Enforcement Branch (MSEB) has a requirement for
enforcement support for mobile sources. Specifically, MSEB enforces and
assists in compliance with the mobile source provisions of the Clean
Air Act. Contractor support is required in the areas of
inspections/investigations, enforcement case support, laboratory
support, and enforcement program development and implementation. EPA
anticipates the award of an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity
task order contract. It is anticipated that as many as 109,000 direct
labor hours could be required for this effort. The contract is
anticipated to have a total period of performance of sixty (60) months
with a twenty-four (24) month base period, a twenty-four (24) month
Option Period I, and a twelve (12) month Option Period II. This
procurement will be conducted as a full and open competition. The
solicitation is expected to be issued on or about 8/31/00 and proposals
will be due about 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. This
procurement is a follow-on to EPA Contract No. 68-W6-0027. The SIC is
8741. The solicitation and amendments will be available via the
Internet World Wide Web at
http://www.epa.gov/oamhpod1/admin_placement/0010622. Firms are
encouraged to access the solicitation and the amendments via the
Internet. If you will be obtaining a copy of the solicitation via the
Internet, it will be your responsibility to frequently check the same
site where the solicitation is posted for any amendments. Firms who do
not have the capability to obtain the solicitation from the Internet,
may submit a written request for a diskette with the solicitation in
WordPerfect 8.0 format from the contact point at the address above;
however, only those firms who do NOT have Internet capability should
request a copy of the diskette. Diskettes will not be sent to those
firms who have Internet access. Telephone and fax requests will not be
honored. For firms without Internet capability, only one copy shall be
sent to a corporate entity, regardless of the number of requests from
one or more geographic locations. All responsible sources may submit a
proposal which shall be considered by the Agency. See note(s) 26.
