COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF JUNE 23,2000 PSA#2628U.S. Geological Survey, Branch Of Acquisition and Federal Assistance,
Box 25046, Denver Federal Center, Denver, CO 80225-0046 76 -- TWO AND THREE DIMENSIONAL MULTICHANNEL SEISMIC REFLECTION AND
DIGITAL WELL LOG DATA SOL 00CRQQ0221 DUE 071100 POC POC: Sandie
Williamson, 303-236-5900, ext. 332 E-MAIL: USGS, CR, Acquisition &
Federal Assistance, slwillia@usgs.gov. The US Geolgical Survey has a
requirement for two and three dimensional multichannel seismic
reflection data in hardcopy and digital form from various areas of the
United States. These data sources are used to determine geologic
structure, stratigraphic relationships, tetonics, and geologic history
as it relates to the assessment of energy resources in sedimentary
basins of the nation. The two and three dimensional multichannel
seismic reflection data must have been acquired and processed using
these minimum standards: Energy Source -- Dynamite and/or Vibroseis;
Record Length -- 1 second or more; Sample Rate -- .5 milliseconds or
more, but not more than 4 milliseconds; Number of Recording Channels --
24 or more; Stack Fold -- 12 or more. The data must have been
originally processed within 18 months of acquisition using industry
standard techniques at that time. If the data has been re-processed at
a later date the USGS requests the data using the latest version of
the processing available to the vendor; Horizontal Scale -- not less
than 24 traces per inch; Vertical Scale -- not less than 2.5 inches per
second; Polarity -- normal or reversed (as specified on the hardcopy
plot of the data). The USGS will require access to the vendors entire
data library of two and three dimensional, multichannel seismic
reflection data from the entire U.S. including Alaska. The USGS will
select data from this library primarily from geologic provinces/areas
of onshore and offshore Gulf Coast regions of TX, LA, AL, MS, FL,
including those areas which cover the Tuscaloosa; Crazy Mountain Basin,
MT; Albuquerque Basin, NM, The Appalachian Basin regions of AL, TN, NC,
KY, WV, VA, OH, PA, and NY; Alaska including the onshore and offshore
regions of the North Slope, Cook Inlet, and interior basins. This
requirement is pursuant to procedures found in Part 13 of the Federal
Acquisition Regulations, 13.1 Procedures and 13.5 Test Program for
Certain Commerical Items. Requests for the RFQ can be sumbitted by
either U.S. mail, e-mail or fax at (303) 236-2710, and must contain the
RFQ number, the requestor's name, address, telephone and fax number.
Telephone requests for the RFQ will not be accepted. RFQ 00CRQQ0221
will close on July 11, 2000, an original plus 2 copies will be
required. This requirement is open to both large and small businesses.
The SIC is 7379. The Government may award more than one contract under
this notice. The performance period of this requirement shall be for a
base year (date of award through September 30, 2000) with two (2) one
year renewal option periods. Posted 06/21/00 (W-SN467224). (0173) Loren Data Corp. http://www.ld.com (SYN# 0306 20000623\76-0001.SOL)
