COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF JUNE 22,2000 PSA#2627TEN CITY TOUR 2000 The U.S. General Services Administration's (GSA)
Office of Enterprise Development in collaboration with the Federal
Supply Service is sponsoring a "Ten City Tour 2000" particulary for
women-owned smalll businesses interested in becoming FSS Schedules
Contract holders. The Federal Supply Schedules Program is a $10.5
billion program and currently has more than 7,000 schedule contract
holders. Our tour objective is to incresae the participation of women
business owners and specifically use this outreach event as a means of
meeting and exceeding the Administration's 5 percent goal established
for women entrepreneurs. Small, minority, 8(a), HUBZONE, and
veteran-owned businesses will find these tour briefings instructive
also, and they are welcome. The tour will kick off on June 29, 2000 in
St Louis, Missouri, at the Adams Mark Hotel, Fourth and Chestnut
Street. This half-day workshop will begin with registratin from
8:00-8:30a.m. GSA experts will provide detailed information to
attendees on how to prepare a quality Schedules offer. Registration is
$15 CASH ONLY to be paid on-site. NO CHECKS OR CREDIT CARDS CAN BE
