Work will consist of the demolition and removal of the existing elevator and replacement with a new elevator. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code for this project is 1796 with an average annual receipts not to exceed $7,000,000. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and transportation required to replace the elevator at the Control Tower. Prospective offerors shall submit with thier proposal a minimum detailed description of the demolition and replacement procedure, elevator type and style, as well as performance time and price. Contractors shall provide the Government a complete and thorough proposal. Incomplete propoals will not be accepted. Magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. Performance period is estimated as 75 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed date. Performance time includes material delivery time and fabrication. Solicitation is being issued for full and open competition. A contract will be awarded to the contractor with the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) proposal. Solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted through the Electronic Posting System (http://www.eps.gov). Paper copies will not be provided.
