U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to
procure the following: (1) Strainer, 8" IPS, Glen-Tech P/N 121P35-8",
quantity 8 each; (2) Strainer, 3" IPS, Glen-Tech P/N 121P35-3",
quantity 8 each; and (3) Strainer, 2" IPS, P/N 820-2", quantity 4 each.
The Government intends to solicit only Glen-Tech (OEM) and/or their
authorized distributors. However, other potential sources may submit
information concerning their capability in supplying these items.
Concerns that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate their
capability by submitting the following information: (1) Data that the
items have been satisfactorily manufactured for the Government or the
Original Equipment Manufacturer, which includes complete and current
engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the item (i.e.,
salient physical, functional, and serviceability characteristics); and
(2) Data that the items have been previously provided to the
Government or the Original Equipment Manufacturer. THIS INFORMATION
MUST BE RECEIVED IN THIS OFFICE NO LATER THAN 20 JUNE 2000. INFORMATION
RECEIVED AFTER THIS DEADLINE SHALL NOT BE CONSIDERED. This synopsis is
issued pursuant to FAR 5.207(e)(3) and TAM 1205.207. See Numbered Note
