via, Nelson_G_Thomas@rl.gov. The U. S. Department Of Energy (DOE) seeks
facilitation and administrative services support for the Hanford
Advisory Board (HAB) to coordinate, schedule, plan and facilitate
meeting activities, and various committee conferences. The HAB, a
Federal Advisory Committee, advises the DOE, Environmental Protection
Agency and Washington Department of Ecology, and plays a key role in
producing meaningful and effective involvement on cleanup issues. The
HAB operates using committees and task forces. The HAB's main purpose
is to develop consensus policy recommendations and advice to address
major Hanford policy issues. The contract will require approximately
one administrator/office manager (approximately 1,000 hours annually),
one full-time administrative clerk and a one full-time and one
half-time facilitator annually. The contractor must have or establish
an office within the Tri-Cities (i.e. Richland, Kennewick, Pasco
Washington). Programmatic direction and supervision will be provided by
the Board chairperson. The contract period of performance will be for
one year to start on October 1, 2000, with four one-year options. It is
anticipated that the RFP will be issued on or about June 30, 2000. Your
