accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 13.5.
The Volpe National Transportation Systems Center has a requirement to
provide an Internet monitoring capability (IMC) for the Federal
Aviation Administration. The capability will serve two key purposes: 1)
Monitoring and reporting on how much FAA wide area network resources
are used by internet communications (particularly bandwidth utilization
on FAA wide area networking resources as well as traffic composition);
2) Monitoring and reporting on potentially inappropriate internet use.
The IMC shall be able to provide reports on Internet sites visited by
FAA users including highlighting use of potentially inappropriate web
sites. The contractor will provide and install an I MC at four FAA
sites (New Jersey, District of Columbia, Oklahoma and California). The
vendor must provide limited product support for a period of at least
one-year. The vendor will provide 10 hours of on-site training atone
government location. No telephone requests will be accepted. The
applicable SIC Code is 7373. The size standard is 750 employee. The
solicitation and any document related to this procurement will be
available on the Internet; these documents will be available in text
format and reside on a WWW server, which may be accessed using Web

Offerors desiring to receive electronic notification of the

Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short
Terms Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the
form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for
transportation related contracts. Maximum line of credit is $500,000.
In addition, a short-term loan program is available to provide working
