The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) plans to issue a modification to Contract DNA001-93-C-0138, extending the contract period of performance from 30 June 2000 to 31 July 2000 and providing additional funding to cover support requirements during this 30-day extension period. The contract extension will provide continued support while a follow-on competitive contract is being awarded. Under the extension to the current contract, Logicon Advanced Technologies will continue to provide critical Scientific Engineering and Technical Assistance to a wide variety of DTRA's major mission areas such as the Counterproliferation Program, Nuclear Support and Operations, Force Protection, etc. Based on RDA's technical expertise and broad base of subcontractors and consultants, DTRA believes RDA is the only contractor capable of providing ongoing programmatic support functions and meeting varied and complex technical requirements within time and budgetary constraints for this interim period.
